Comfortable and cozy.

Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't been posting that much lately, I promise I'll try to have a brand new post at least once a week from now on! So the weather here in Greece is getting colder and colder and all I want is to stay home with a hot chocolate, a cozy blanket and spend the night watching movies! When I go out I choose to wear hoodies and cozy boots most of the time and that's pretty much what I'm wearing in this post.. I promise there are more exciting posts to come since I'm already planning my outfits for the holidays!

Although my Uggs are not the most flattering pair of shoes I own, they are insanely comfortable and warm!

Thanks for reading and happy holidays guys! xx

Travel diary: Christmas in Elati 2013!

Hello! So I know Greece is most known for its islands but it can also be a great winter destination too. There are so many amazing places to visit! Two years ago we decided to spend Christmas in Elati. Elati is a small village in Trikala and I believe it's named like that because it is full of firs (fir=elato in Greek). I think it's safe to say it was the best Christmas of my life! The place was magical! Every house roof was covered by snow and you could see christmas decorations everywhere. You truly felt the spirit of Christmas!
We stayed in a small and cozy apartment which had an amazing view of the village and it even had its own fireplace! So, when it comes to food I think we overdid it a little bit.. I tried wild boar for the first time and it was so good.. The local food was great in general and the people were so kind and welcoming. We also visited the ski resort in Pertouli but unfortunately we didn't have the chance to ski or surfboard.. Here are some photos of the village and some other places we visited..

Firs! Firs everywhere!

So we stayed three days in the village and the last day we visited the "Grinder of the Elves" (Μύλος Των Ξωτικών) which is the biggest Christmas village in our country. It really felt like we entered a whole new world! There were so many small houses selling every type of candy you can imagine! They even had small houses that were entirely made by chocolate.. For a few hours we felt like being children again.. I highly recommend visiting the Christmas village, it will be such an unforgettable experience!

Om nom nom...

The maxi dress.

Hello again! I bought this dress 2 years ago and I just love the way it hugs my body.. I paired it with sandals and long necklaces for a more bohemian look. I'm all about the details so I also wore a bright pink bra underneath for a pop of colour.

Balmain x H&M favorites!

Balmain x H&M favorites!

The collaboration all fashionistas around the world have been waiting for is here! H&M releases their new collection with the parisian couture house Balmain on 5th November 2015. I'm sure by the time you read that you've probably already seen the powerful ads starring top models Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid and Jourdan Dunn.
The collection stays true to the Balmain strong feminine silhouette and I'm really impressed by the rich embellishments and the details on the dresses and the blazers.
Here are my top picks:

1. The beaded velvet jacket: We first saw it on Kendall Jenner and it looked so good! I'm amazed by the details on it. Such a statement piece!
2.The simple tee: A versatile piece with the logo of the iconic brand on it. Chic!
3.The suede thigh-high boots: Paired with the jacket they would make such a powerful combo!
4.The gold embossed ring: I'm into gold toned jewelry and the oversized rings are a favorite of mine!
5.The suede ankle boots: Probably not my cup of tea but they look so rad I couldn't help but feature them!

Layering.

Hello! The weather is starting to get colder here in Greece and it's perfect for layering your jackets to provide warmth and be stylish at the same time! One of my favorite combinations is to wear plaid shirts under my leather jackets or chunky knits. You can also add a cozy scarf for extra warmth.

Fall inspiration board.

Fall inspiration board.

Seventeen Magazine / Anthony Vaccarello S/S '15 / Knit Now / Harper's Bazaar / Tumblr / Vogue China

1.Hats

I don't usually wear hats and that's something I want to change this fall. I think they give such a character to an outfit and they are a timeless piece that anyone should have in their wardrobe.

2.Chloe Faye bag

Omg this bag! This bag is what I call love at first sight! It really is not an affordable piece but it's just so rad! A piece of art, nothing more to say!

3.Pink hair

Although I don't think I would look great in pink hair I actually really like this trend and I give props to the girls that can pull it off. I think pink looks so good paired with monochrome outfits like all-black or all-white.

4.Knits

I think knits are a must during fall season. I'm so happy I get to wear again my favorite cozy sweaters and cardigans from Zara and H&M! I like them to be oversized and I pair them with leggings or skinny jeans.

5.LBDs

I 've realized that I have so many little black dresses in my closet and I hardly ever worn them, such a shame..They are such a staple piece not only in summer but in fall too if you pair them with cozy jackets and black or grey tights!

6.Turbans

They are just so stylish and they look great especially if you have long hair! I'm blonde so I prefer the black or grey knit turbans but you can totally wear colourful ones if you want a pop of colour to your monochrome outfit.

7.Red lips

I don't like bold red lip colours during summer but when it comes to fall I'm all about them! I love the deep burgundy ones but I also like the classic red ones like Ruby Woo from MAC.

8.Tumblr

Finally Tumblr has been my main source for fashion inspiration lately! You can find so many photos there, from streetstyle to runway ones and there are so many great blogs to search! Love it!

Fall is coming.

Although fall is coming, it's still kinda warm here in Greece.. Perfect weather for combining your summer pieces with cozy jackets or hoodies.. Following "rules" in fashion was never my thing so I have absolutely no problem pairing shorts and flip flops with hooded jackets or sweaters. Actually I think it looks kinda cool!

Have a great weekend! xx

Comfy.

Todays post is about anonther basic item in my wardrobe, the sweater.. I bought it during the summer and loved its bold colour and  how lightweight it is. Definately a statement piece. I dont't usually wear bold colours but when I do, I lean toward reds or yellows. I think it's important to find the colour that suits best your skin tone and embrace it!

Have a great weekend! xx
